Glenn Zane Scholarship Fund

A scholarship was established in Glenn Zane’s memory to honor his lifelong dedication to his work and the industry he loved.

After earning a degree in Forestry from Humboldt State University, Glenn devoted more than 60 years to the timber industry, where he became known for his honesty, knowledge, innovation, and strong work ethic. Throughout his career, he also mentored many young foresters, generously sharing his experience and helping guide the next generation entering the field.

Even after retiring from several positions, he remained actively involved, continually developing new ideas and projects and contributing his expertise. The scholarship reflects Glenn’s belief in hard work, learning, and supporting those who are just beginning their careers, carrying forward the same commitment and passion that defined his life’s work.
